How It Works

Contaminated Water

Use it three ways depending on your situation. Sip directly from any water source with the included straw, screw it onto any standard bottle, or attach the squeeze bag and let gravity do the work. Every method moves water toward the filter inside, starting purification instantly.

Micro-Pore Filtration

Inside the straw are hollow fibres with 0.1-micron pores. As sipping pressure pushes water forward, these pores act like a physical barrier. Bacteria, parasites, and dirt are too large to fit through. Blocked contaminants include E. coli, Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Microplastics, and sediment.

Contaminant Capture

When germs and particles hit the membrane, they get stuck on the outside of the fibres. They cannot squeeze through the micro-pores, and cannot move backward against the flow. Everything harmful stays trapped in the filter wall.

Why do I need this when I can just boil water?
While boiling works, it's not practical in most emergency scenarios. Boiling requires fuel, time, a heat source, and a container — resources you might not have when seconds count. The AQUA-S1 provides instant, safe drinking water with zero setup. Plus, boiling doesn't remove physical contaminants, heavy metals, or microplastics — our advanced filtration does.
What exactly does the 0.1 micron filtration remove?
Our 0.1 micron hollow fibre membrane removes 99.999999% of bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella, Cholera), 99.999% of parasites (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), 99.999% of microplastics, plus dirt, sediment, and turbidity. With our activated carbon stage: chlorine, bad taste and odors.
Will it expire if I just keep it in my emergency kit?
